The 7 Habits of…

I’ve mentioned the LinkedIn website several times before as a great way to improve your working knowledge of business, leadership & various business-related strategies & topics.

Of course, you can always read the hundreds & thousands of various business publications & books out there. Many of the classic best-sellers are still very relevant & informative even today’s, decades after they originally arrived on our book shelves.

But, in today’s hectic world, there seem to be so many other “distractions” that keep people from truly spending a significant amount of time reading.

I’ve found LinkedIn to have so many valuable articles & snippets from current business leaders about how to be more successful at your craft.

I came across one of these pieces today…”Top 7 Habits Of Mentally Strong People”.

Many years ago, world-famous educator & author, Stephen Coney, wrote an incredibly-successful book, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

In a nutshell, he talks about…
1. Be proactive
2. Begin with an end in mind
3. Put first things, first
4. Think in terms of win-win
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood
6. Synergize
7. Sharpen the Saw

I encourage you to read god book & delve much deeper into these topics.

Today, I ran across an article on “The 7 Habits of Mentally Strong People”.

1. They have a proactive approach to life
2. They move on from things they can not control
3. They embrace the unexpected and make the best of it
4. They look at the past, but they live and enjoy the present while planning for the future
5. They calculate risks
6. They do not gossip
7. They are kind
